Communications in corporate management does not have to be rigid. Sometimes, informal session is the way to bring the best out of every staff.
Continuing from last week’s session, Boustead Plantations Berhad CEO Zainal Abidin Shariff today held an engagement session with mid-level management between the age of 36 to 45 years old.
This bottom-up approach serves as a two-way communication platform for staff to directly engage with the CEO and exchange their aspirations and expectations for the company’s growth.
In liberalising management process, Zainal Abidin said he practiced an “open-door policy” and staff could approach him at any time for consultation or propose any ideas.
Opening up direct communication channel for employees conforms with our stand on the principles of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).
