Our pursuit towards sustainability does not end in our estates and mills. We believe a good business is one that includes the agenda of empowering local community into the equation.

Many of our estates are located in the vicinity of Orang Asli settlement. As a means to empower and improve the community’s standards of living, our estate managers periodically conduct Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes with the nearby Orang Asli community.

Among the many CSR initiatives that we have conducted with the Orang Asli community was the distribution of food basket held in recent months – an initiative by our team in Bebar Estate, Pahang. A total of 45 baskets consisting of essential food items were distributed to families of Orang Asli community living near the estate.

As a business entity that adheres to the principles of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), we remain with our commitment to grow together with the local community in our operations throughout the country.
